Individual Counseling: I provide individual counseling for children, adolescents, college students, and adults.  My work is collaborative in nature, focused on understanding you and your experiences, and supporting your growth and healing to live a happy, healthy, successful life.  

Relationship Counseling:  Relationships come in many forms (newlywed, long-term, dating) and dynamics (monogamous, polyamorous, and open).  I look at relationships from all sides, as well as provide an observational perspective, to understand what you have, what you are missing, and what are you looking to change.  

Family and Parenting Counseling:  The family is a unit and each member of the family has an important voice and contribution to the functioning of the whole unit.  I facilitate the strengthening of the unit by supporting each voice to be heard and work toward the shared goals of the family. 

Prior to moving to Rhode Island, I worked as an embedded counselor for an academic college within a Big 10 school providing not only individual counseling services to the students within the college, but also provided consultation to faculty and staff, providing outreach training regarding the importance of mental health and wellness, and supported an initiative to improve overall student well-being.  Many of the topics covered included education and training on common mental health concerns, needs assessment, imposter syndrome, self-care, time management, and work-life balance. I am currently credentialed with a number of insurance providers and am working on paneling with more.  Currently, Medicare does not credential Mental Health Counselors, so I am unable to see clients who have Medicare insurance plans.  I also provide itemized bills that individuals can submit to their insurance providers for partial reimbursement for Out-of-Network services.   It is your responsibility to determine if I am an In-Network provider for your specific insurance plan.
